Cell Operator

Description: Responsible for performing job assignments on manual and/or CNC machines. Must be capable of working within a team environment, supporting cellular manufacturing and achieving monthly targets.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Applicants must be able to apply themselves to multi task roles, and understand the principles of cellular manufacturing.
  • Can converse with Engineering Blueprints and/or written specifications.
  • Performs quality inspections on work performed by using precision measuring instruments.
  • Works in a team environment.
  • Operates other equipment as necessary.
  • Has an understanding of TPM and can carry out simple maintenance tasks.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain internal inspection stamp.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment.

The successful candidate should possess the necessary enthusiasm, desire to succeed and discipline to achieve significant results for the organization.

 

Education and Experience:

  • Educated to GCSE or equivalent.
  • Must be capable of understanding and following procedures, and have a can do attitude.
  • Must be willing to learn
  • Experience in a Medical environment would be an advantage.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Due to the above an eye test will be mandatory.

Based on working a 3 shift system:
1 week: 6AM - 2PM Shift allowance 14%
1 week: 2PM - 10PM Shift allowance 14%
1 Month nights 9.30 - 6.30 Monday - Thursday
Shift allowance for nights - 30%
