MACHINE SETTER/OPERATOR/PROGRAMMER - TURNING
Excellent Opportunity for a Skilled Turner Programmer/Setter/Operator to join this progressive, expanding company working the permanent Night Shift.
- Some knowledge of Milling would be a distinct advantage.
- The ideal candidate will be a time-served machinist, used to working to tight tolerances within a quality machining environment.
- Fully conversant with Fanuc controls.
- Ability to select correct tooling; knowledge of what a PCLNR 2525 tool holder looks like.
- Knowledge of CNMG Insert, awareness of different grades, and the different Tip rads.
- Ability to set tools up and edit any program tool offsets.
- Ability to single step through the program on the first component to check process is ok.
- Produce the first off component and check, making any required adjustments and produce a 'correct to drawing' part before taking it for 'First off inspection' verification.
- Fully conversant with all measuring equipment, to fine tolerances, and also being able to work in both metric and imperial units, working from standard engineering drawings and Op drawings.
- Permanent Night Shift.
- Basic Salary + Shift allowance + Attendance Allowance
- Based near Hinckley
