Office/Support Services Manager

Description: This progressive company is now seeking to employ an Office/Support Services Manager; To manage and deliver services to support the efficient and effective operation of the whole secretariat.

Responsible to: Chief Executive

Job Description:

  • To provide – directly or indirectly – support for all ICT facilities and other
    office equipment, furniture etc (representing c40-50% of total workload)
  • To ensure the maintenance of the office building and surrounding land.
  • To be responsible for all health and safety issues.
  • To pursue continuing improvement in arrangements for receiving,
    collating, maintaining and using contact data.
  • To manage the company website and develop/promote related services.
  • To support the Chief Executive in developing and delivering services to the
    energy & utilities sector beyond those provided by the HHIC and Utility
    Networks divisions.
  • To provide administrative support, resolving issues for fellow colleagues
  • To undertake specified office duties (eg handling incoming telephone
    calls).
  • To supervise the Administration Assistant and any other staff specified by
    the Chief Executive.
  • To undertake ‘ad hoc’ projects.
  • To undertake any other duties reasonably requested by the company
    including undertaking the key duties of other staff in their absence.

Person Specification:

  • Excellent Internal Customer Management Skills
  • Bright and well motivated
  • Good secretarial and administration skills
  • Numerate
  • High level of ICT skills – including Microsoft Office,
  • Outlook, system management & Data Integration
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
    Some Project Management Experience would be beneficial

Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
