Universal Grinder – Setter/Operator
Our client is one of the world leaders in the manufacture of technical ceramic components and assemblies with manufacturing sites worldwide. An extensive range of advanced production techniques is utilized in order to manufacture complex engineering products for Laser, Aerospace, Medical, Semiconductor and Telecommunications markets.
Successful applicant will be able to set and operate a range of Jones & Shipman Universal Grinding Machines to produce ceramic components accurately to engineering drawings. This is a self inspection environment therefore quality and accuracy are of paramount importance as you will be working to very tight tolerances. Ideally you will have completed a formal apprenticeship or equivalent.
Experience of working other grinding machines would be advantageous
Candidates must be eligible to work and live in the UK.
Hours of work: 37 hrs per week
Working a variety of shift patterns.
Salary: Negotiable
